At last someone speaks up against Bush's attempted remake of Top Gun. Why do we have such an inept democratic party that it takes them 1 week to get a decent response. Furthermore where the heck is the press in all this. Isn't it the responsibility of the press to challenge those in power and hold them accountable? What happened to old fashioined journalistic ethics? Our free society depends on the independence of the fourth estate. I'm not asking for CNN to become Democracy Now, but I'd really appreciate a little less rah rah rah go Bush, and a little more, HOLY CRAP WE"RE BANKRUPTING THE COUNTRY WITH THESE TAX CUTS, WTF USING THE ENTIRE US MILITARY FOR A CAMPAIGN COMMERCIAL. I MEAN IS THIS WHY 100 AMERICANS GAVE THEIR LIVES? I'm sorry madam your son is dead, the RNC thanks you for your sacrafice; Exxon-Mobil thanks you for record profits.
