Font Rants on Many Subjects

We've purchased a new Mosquito Magnet for the backyard in hopes of fighting the menacing asian tiger mosquito. These little bastards bite during the daytime and at night meaning that the backyard is basically uninhabitable from April through November. The trap is the latest high tech bug trap; which Consumers (all hail the wise and noble consumers union) has rated quite high. In the interests of full disclosure, non-scientific research, and consumer information I will be providing updates as we attempt to take back our yard.
The results so far:

1. Setup -- very easy, just snap together a few things, and hook up the proprane tank. One glitch after I put the Ocentenal cartridge in, I noticed a flyer in the back of the directions which says, "Asian Tiger Mosquitos are repelled by Ocetenol, do not use if trying to stop this mosquito". This resulted in some cursing on my part. There is also a nice little tool that lets to plot out your landscaping to put the magnet in the best location in the yard. It looks like I'll have to move the magnet around to get the best results. The tool is a fun game in its rate. I give the setup 4 stars.

2. Efficacy -- after a mere 20 minutes we captured our first mosquito; meaning our cost per bug (CPB) is at approximatly $318 (mosquito magnet + propane). Working out in the yard yesterday I received 3 bites on skin that had been missed by repellent. Efficacy results are undetermined.
