Font Rants on Many Subjects

A dream to share.

I don't normally share this kind of thing; because frankly dreams are personal. However this particular dream seems significant. Though honestly it may just be the result of something I ate. I share this dream because it leaves me wondering; and I'm curious what kind of comments will come in (assuming anyone reads this).

I was in my normal slumber of unmemorable things; when suddenly the world became rather strange. The outside world, full of a meadow of tall grass, was actually inside a house. I found that I could pass through a doorway to the house, and thus the inside is outside and the outside is in. This dream imagery is hard to explain; so if you're having trouble visualizing I understand. I found myself standing in the threshold of a doorway to the inside world looking back at this meadow where I've just come from. And there was a scene of 5 animals moving through the meadow. Unfortunately I don't recall all the animals; but I knew them in my dream. One was a lynx, which was chasing a larger mammal (maybe a horse). Though I knew in my dream it's supposed to be a lynx; I also knew in my dream that it didn't look like a lynx. This is a rather odd turn; as one would think, knowing what a lynx looks like; I would in fact conjure up the right picture for a lynx. Of course one unsettling possibility is that I was just having this dream; but wasn't the one dreaming it.

Then I saw the raven man. Imagine a creature covered in black feathers with a narrow waist, and a broad chest; wings for arms, but walking and talking as a man. I knew him in my dream as the raven man. Anyway the raven man appears, and I'm afraid of him initially; and trying to avoid him. Then we met, and he told me some stuff; which I don't remember; but it seemed comforting and helpful. I had a feeling that the raven man might have been trying to distract me from something I was actually supposed to see. Then I woke up.
