Katharine the Great

I've listened to her on NPR and I'm going to call it. Katharine will usher in a golden age for the Episcopal Church. In the otherwise ridiculous Washington Post article, she shines, with the closing quote "that we're more interested in feeding hungry people and relieving suffering than we are in arguing about what gender someone is or what sexual orientation someone has." I hope she will be the leader that returns the church to an outward mission. 30 years is long enough to discerene the will of the holy spirit. Either we prayed and the spirit guided us to ordain women and gays; or we had our hearts hardened and we ordained them out of some other sense. What's done is done; therefore let us return to mission. I regret not all our brothers and sisters will join us in the return to mission. However we can wait no longer; we must return to the outward mission of serving others.
