I'm disgusted that my senator belittled a 20 year old for "looking foreign". This isn't a political issue, this is an issue about how we relate to one another as human beings. It doesn't matter if the senator knew what the word meant, his intent was clear enough. It saddens me to think that conservatives feel like they have to defend him just cause his party is GOP. There is nothing to defend here, there is no appology. He said it. He meant it. He's only sorry it was on tape. He can't take it back. No apppology is necessary senator, thank you for letting us know who you are. We no longer require your services. Please accept your congressional pension as our severance package.
